The early reviews are telling me I did well on this book, like I felt I did. But one thing a few people mentioned is why this book feels like a good ending point. Miranda takes a "tour" of the office before the finale. So the book is a lot of sex and sexual buildup.
I got the idea of the office tour from a random thing another author said while chatting with me. I think the universe had me talking to this person at the exact time I needed because I was just starting to write the book. π

It's been a busy few days, plus I rested a bit over the weekend like I'm supposed to. π
So something weird real life... I've always been a vivid and lucid dreamer. I could always control my dreams growing up, and I dreamed in color. I thought this was normal because my mother was the same way, so when I'd tell her about my dreams, it just seemed normal.
About two years ago, I stopped remembering my dreams suddenly. I don't know what happened, but it was really odd and a little sad because at least one of my stories was a dream I had. Glory for the Night was a vivid dream that I woke up from and was like "wtf was that? OMG, I should write that."
So yeah, I'm the type who used to vivid dream gloryhole boxes. π
Well, a week ago I started remembering my dreams again. They're just as vivid and amazing as they used to be. I'm not sure the hubby is glad they're back, he said my epic tales of my dreams always made him feel like he was missing out on something fun because he only remembers bad dreams, haha.
So far I haven't dreamed up a story to write, but I've got my fingers crossed.
But I've read two erotica stories recently, and my gloryhole box made me think about one of them. I'll share the two stories below.

I can't believe it's been four years since Servicing the Senior Partner. I'm feeling very nostalgic this week. Miranda has been such a big part of my erotica writing journey, and I'm proud of all the books I've written.
But, If you don't want to read 21 books to fully enjoy the epic finale, here's the books I'd recommend reading. I'm just listing the Four Lawyers bundle and not the individual books because they're all directly important to the storyline.
See, I got it down to 14 books instead of 21 for people who want the direct route without the side stories. π₯° The side stories are still worth it, but you know, they'll always be there for later.

Here's 2 books I read recently. I really liked both of them.
The first one is Alec Lake's book, Tempted to Cheat. He roped me in with the dom from Scotland, but it also oddly had a happily ever after for the couple? I dunno, it hit that weird spot where the cheating was hot, and I really liked how it ended. So this one surprised me.
The next one is Shared on the Nile by Elizabeth Roubaix. This one is just ridiculous and I laughed several times. It's also the one that reminded me of my gloryhole box story, for... reasons. I told Elizabeth I need a book 2, because if there had been a book 2 out, I would have immediately read it.
I'm saying this up front so it doesnβt get buried. This message isnβt asking people to not boycott Amazon. I support whatever a person feels they need to do.
I said something similar to this at the end of January, but not everyone was with my newsletter back then so I want to repeat it, especially given what is going on with Amazon and the boycott. I want my newsletter and stories to be a place for people to escape to. If you don't see me mention events that are affecting people, don't take it to mean that I don't feel deeply about things, or that I'm being insensitive.
I obviously have feelings about the boycott. Itβs almost impossible for an author with as many books as I have to jump in and out of KU without preplanning because our books are on a 90-day required cycle for being exclusive. On top of that, a few of the wide retailers seem to be shadow banning erotica. So even if a store takes erotica, they arenβt always giving the books visibility.
Itβs also incredibly difficult for erotica to be sold on direct sales sites due to the payment processors not wanting to work with what they consider porn. I tried twice now to sell direct, and both times I got banned. If I wrote romantic erotica with HEA, I think I could do it, but my freeuse gangbang stories? Yeah, they took one look at me and said no. π
So, I plan on weathering this storm, along with plenty of other KU authors.
No matter what I feel about Amazon and their policies, Iβm only a full-time writer because of them. And I love KU as a reader, especially right now.
And really, the type of erotica I write is happy with very little angst. The perfect type of story to immerse yourself into because it's going to be a happy fun times for everyone.
So I'll keep writing the stories we both love, and putting them in KU for people to enjoyβwhether thatβs right now, or in a few weeks. π
